Comdev To Launch OnePlus2 Beta
July 13, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web technology provider Comdev Software (comdevweb.com) announced on Wednesday it will release its Web-based desktop application OnePlus2 Beta at this year's HostingCon 2006
(hostingcon.com), held July 17 to 19 at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
OnePlus2 Beta converts the usage of PC-based applications to Web-based and enables users to access their personal data anywhere for Internet users. Among the features available in the OnePlus2 are email client, file manager and flash games, where Internet users can log in
to their Web-based desktop using any PC with Internet access.
Comdev says that the OnePlus2 Beta will create a strategic alliance with Web hosts to ensure long-term success of the business and its rapid growth. The company hopes to reach its future projection of 100,000 Beta users within six months after its launch.
While Microsoft owns the personal computing software, OnePlus2 will embrace Web computing where users with Internet access can just log in to their Web-based desktop to access their emails, files and so forth. They will be charged a monthly fee of $5 to10, which includes 1 to 3GB of storage.
